I have 2 spare tickets for the hopkins v calzaghe fight they cost $450 each and want to know how easy would it be to sell them in vegas,i dont want to make a fortune on them and would be happy to get back what they cost,is it an offence to re-sell tickets in the usa? any advice would be welcome.

You may get a person to buy them in vegas on the weekend if the fight sells out.

donalbrain, as has been suggested you should try craigslist and eBay. There are a number of tickets for sale (for less than face value) on both sites. Failing that you%26#39;ll just have to hope that somebody will take them off your hands once you%26#39;re in Vegas but be aware that it looks as though it will be very much a buyer%26#39;s market and you could end up with a big loss.
It looks to me that the promoters were way too optimistic by hoping to fill the Thomas %26amp; Mack Center for this fight and that a smaller venue would have been more suitable. Maybe they were anticipating a British invasion similar to Mayweather vs Hatton.
450 is a good price, i priced them last night and they were showing as 1400 per ticket...wowsers!!!

How did you get on selling the tickets? I bought tickets on the day of the fight for less than half of face value
