Wynn Tips?

We are leaving in just over a week for 4 nights at the Wynn. I am soooo excited!!! Does anyone have any great tips or things we need to know about staying at the Wynn? Thanks!

Wynn Tips?

it%26#39;s a fantastic property - small, classy, exceptional staff, well designed, lacks an excessive amount of children and tourist running around.

Dining options a little more $$ than some other hotels. For quick bites the deli and club both have sandwiches, etc.

join the player%26#39;s club if you haven;t already - ask how many pt are necessary to earn the buffet.

see spamalot and leReve, both great shows

congrats on making a wise choice.

';it%26#39;s a fantastic property - small,';

I love it - only in Las Vegas is a property with 2,500+ rooms described as ';small'; :)

good point - my granddaughter just made the same one to me, so I came back

smaller in comparison is a better description, for a LV resort. You don%26#39;t feel overwhelmed.

also has some great boutique shopping

It%26#39;s easier to navigate than say bellagio, Venetian, Mandy, etc.

';smaller in comparison is a better description,';

I knew what you meant, and I agree.

If you would like a room with the golf course view, request one as far south as possible. This will also give you a view of the Wynn pool.

If you prefer the strip view, request a room above the 30th floor to avoid hearing music from the nightclub at 2am.

Tableau for breakfast. Only a few dollars more than the cafe, and an infinately better experiance.

Charge EVERYTHING to your room. Dining, Spa, Drinks at pool, etc. Wynn is the only hotel in Las Vegas that considers money spent in the hotel (not just the casino) when extending future offers.

Depending on how much gambling you will do - charge EVERYTHING to your room.

Do not remove anything from the mini-bar or even the little candy stand on top of it for more than 60 seconds - you will be charged.

Eat at Okada or the Country Club. Skip SW Steakhouse.

Make sure you have your Red Card with you at night or you won%26#39;t be able to get on the elevators no matter how hard you cry.

Take care of getting room comps the night before you leave if you are leaving early in the morning (red card peeps and casino hosts don%26#39;t work until 7 a.m.).

If you gamble enough - get a casino host.

Put plenty of towels on the floor in the bathrooms after a shower or bath - they are slipperier than Bill Clinton.

I%26#39;m pretty sure the buffet is down to 50 points - stick a $100 bill into a $1 Jackpot Party machine and play 9 lines at 2 credits and you%26#39;ll rack up enough for 4 buffets if you get on a good streak.

Don%26#39;t order a movie at 2:30 a.m. after consuming 18 drinks.

Don%26#39;t fight with the wakeup call - there%26#39;s not a real person on the other end.

Don%26#39;t leave on the Wynn TV Channel all night . . . you%26#39;ll have nightmares about little tiny devils with super big fake smiles and silky smooth voices telling you it%26#39;s OK to squirt shampoo all over the room ';just because it%26#39;s Vegas';.

Find Daniel the Swiss BJ dealer . . . you won%26#39;t lose. Usually at the first pit after the registration area - probably at a $50 or $100 min table at night.

King beds have strip facing views, double beds face the golf course - stayed in both and VERY MUCH prefer the king rooms - request one on the highest floor possible.

Food is VERY pricey there, even Zooza Crackers, the sports book restaurant, which cost us $40 for 2 burgers and 2 sides. Great food though! Speaking of the sports book, they are by far the best for comping drinks of any other casino we%26#39;ve found on the Strip.

Use your players club card (you room key will double as one, you don%26#39;t need to wait in line to sign up) and find out how many points for a free buffet. When we stayed there in Nov. it was 2 for $50 which was easily doable. Once you%26#39;ve reached the set point amount get a voucher from the players club desk and while you%26#39;re there, ask for a line pass. Also, IMO, the breakfast buffet is a better value than eating at Terrace Pointe Cafe - our breakfast cost as much for two and we didn%26#39;t enjoy it nearly as much.

Sit outside in the evening and have a drink at the Parasol Down bar and watch the whacked out lake of dreams show. It%26#39;s an enjoyable place to sit and enjoy a few drinks.

If you need reasonably priced coffee/bottled water, leave the hotel and get it at the Fashion Show Mall across Las Vegas Blvd. they have a starbucks and an ABC Store where you can buy cheap water/booze/snacks for your room. Don%26#39;t make the mistake we did, though, the Fashion Show Mall has more ';normal'; mall hours than the others on the Strip.

Enjoy your trip!

Loved the Wynn. If you are hearing outside noise, there is a fresh air vent at the base of the window you can close for a quieter night. Have a mojito at the pool, delicious! Cocktail service was great throughout the casino. We enjoyed a reasonably priced meal at Red 8, and breakfast by room service was an expensive treat. Have a great time!
