MGM and Signature pool areas

Heading to Vegas this June for the first time. Is there ample amount of shade provided by either palm trees or umbrellas at these pools? Hard to tell from pictures. We are staying at the Signature. Someone stated that the walkway from the Signature takes you right to the MGM pool area. Can anyone please tell me about how far of a walk this is?

We switched from the Flamingo to Signature due to quieter, non-smoking building. I understand that we will be farther from the action but I think that will be okay. Thanks for any help!

You can find shade at the MGM pool, vegetation and architecture allow it.

MGM is better than Flamingo pool in every way.

If you are worried about 5-10 minutes of walking, Sig is not your place. Do request at check in, the closest tower to MGM main pool

I%26#39;m here now! Just about to go to the pool at Signature tower 2. Plenty of shade in the morning before the sun comes round and plenty of umbrellas.

The walk from the Signature to the MGM pool is about 5 minutes (if that). I%26#39;m not quite sure why the walk from the Signature (to anywhere else) is mentioned so often, as we%26#39;ve not found it to be a problem at all.

Sounds like you will definitely appreciate the quieter, non-smoking aspect of the Signature - we certainly are.

Thanks for the helpful responses. Rettep have a wonderful vacation! Thanks again to both of you.

Consider checking out the brand new ultra-lounge-meets-pool scene which opens this week. Wet Republic ultra-lounge-pool scene is located adjacent to the Signature hotel.

Signature pool is OK. Nice but plain. The shade from the building is all I remember. I don%26#39;t remember any trees or umbrellas.

We did hike about 10 minutes from tower 2 to MGM pool at about 5pm to find a scene that looked like the cops came and chased out 1,000 revelers. Empty beer bottles all over the place! However, that was a Saturday afternoon and I%26#39;m sure that is not representative of that pool - which looked great other than the rubble.

On a positive note, the rooms at the Signature are beautiful!!

How can this be true!!! I thought you had to take a taxi from the Signature to the pool complex! Less than five minutes, were you running????

Glad you are enjoying yourself and not letting the walking myths ruin your trip.

a picture is worth 1,000 words. Signature is adjacent to many pools - check it out.
