Trip report April 9-14

I have to say this was one of our best trips to Vegas yet!! Arrived on Wednesday night from JFK at 9:30pm. Took a taxi to Bally%26#39;s and checked in. Booked a king bed in the North Tower(deluxe room). Really goo size room, I love Bally%26#39;s they are the only hotel in Vegas I have ever stayed at that there doors are so heavy that you don%26#39;t have slamming door noise at all hours in the hall.

Immediately had Mom drive to the closest Jack-N-Box which is righton Flamingo Dr. We can not start out Vegas vacation until we have our 2 for 99 cent tacos. Came back visited with mom for awhile over some slot machines. Went to be around 1am.

Day 2- Woke up early to have breakfast with mom at our favorite breakfast place in the Paris the Crepe place so yummy!! Said bye to mom so could get on the road. And we were off our first Vegas vacation without any parents...this is our 6th trip. We roamed from casino to casino to see any changes since our last visit in 2006. And there were alot of good improvements!!

We had an early dinner planned with some friends at Sensi in the Bellagio...fantastic!! everything was really good...for anyone with a sweet tooth there is only one thing to order at dessert time the sampler!!! Only $38 total and they bring this massive tower of every sweet miniatured they make we had 4 people and still could not finish it all. Best deal in all of Vegas for what you get and the price.

After we departed from our friends it was time to hit the clubs. Started at Voodoo Lounge at the Rio, did not buy the $60pp all you can drink package but it would be really worth it if you did. The outdoor space is amazing!! It was a little too chilly for us so we went inside for a bit it is really small compared to outside, really fun GoGo dancers. But it got crowded due the weather was chilly so everyone was heading inside. So we came up with another suggestion...Tao.

Tao is a blast on Thursday we been there before and was still just as fun...girls just an fyi if going here and planning on going to the bathroom make sure your skirts cover you and you are wearing something underneath. See the bathrooms are upstairs and while you are waiting everyone below looks straight up at you from the bar below...just a tip I thought I would pass on.

Day 3-Woke up early again we just can not sleep when we are in Vegas anyone else with this problem?? Went and had a ham and cheese crossant in the Paris Bakery so yummy. Then took the tram to MGM..get the day pass. Played around in all the hotel at that end then took a taxi to IN-N-Out Burger did not realize how close it was to the Exclabur. this was my first burger there this place was packed do not let the line fool you it goes really quick and so worth it!! We then walked back. then Played for awhile a NYNY and we finally won some...yipee!

We went to dinner at Spice Market Buffet in Planet Hollywood. It was good but not a good as the last time, selection seems to be slimming down.

Then it was time for another club and tonight it was Prive in Planet Hollywood..it was also where they were hosting one of the Miss USA after parties. We took one look around and decided we are going to do our bottle service here tonight. It was so worth the price we do this once every trip and we pick very well. The party was great!! Anyone wondering they did have an area for 1 bottle minimum very nice couches you are not stuck in the worst seating just cause you are only doing 1 bottle.

Day 4- My birthday!! We had such a great day, went to the Mirage Secret Garden and Dolphin Habitat...they have a new baby dolphin so cute and active. The cats are all massive, we come here everytime we are in town a bit pricey $15pp but we love it. Headed to Margaritaville for some nachos and a couple of margarita%26#39;s the upstairs roof deck is a blast.

We had dinner at Sushi Roku in Caesars the best Miso soup we ever had and there is alot on there menu that is not sushi. Their cocktails are really good! Then we headed to Shadows Lounge

Then for something different we went to Spearmint Rhino...it was alot of fun but I do like Olympic Gardens better.

Day 5-Last day and we do the same thing straight for the Palms and wow we did great my husband made $500 off a mega bucks penny machine...and we kept winning the rest of the day where ever we went. Had to get Jack-N-Box one last time for lunch.

We went to see our only show tonight Le Reve at the Wynn..so worth it!! there is no bad seat in this place the only place I would not suggest is in rows A-C due to this is the splash zone unless you don%26#39;t mind a little splash now and then. the show is amazing a must see!!

For our final dinner we decided to try the buffet at the Wynn and WOW the quality was really worth the price you really have to go to this one. not a single greasy item on the menu.

Our final night spot was Blush in the Wynn what a great lounge and the drinks we the best yet go here on Sunday if you hate crowds.

Day 6- Flight was at 3pm so plenty of time to make another round and say goodbye til next time.

I do not really go into where we gamble due to we just roam from one to another but I can say the tightest slots we ran into this trip was at Planet Hollywood and Ballys..will probly be different next time.Best place was Palms they seem to be the best slots every trip.

Let me know if you have any questions that I did not clarify here. Hope this helps out someone who may have a couple of questions on the places we went to.

Cheers,

Stacie

Cheers,

Just wanted to know where is the In-Out Burger by the Excalibur? We always go to the one by Rio%26#39;s.We are staying in NYNY maybe the one you went to is closer. Thanks for the info. Good trip report. Glad you had a great time.....

Nice TR, thanks for posting.

Cheers,

Great TR Magic97 %26amp; I have some important questions to ask...

You walked from In-N-Out Burger back to Excalibur. How long did that take?

Was it easy to do (i.e. is there sidewalk the whole way)?

I wanted to go to In-N-Out on my last trip but wasn%26#39;t sure I could walk from the corner of Excalibur/ MGM/ NYNY, even though i could see the big sign in the distance. It looked like it was all highway on-ramps %26amp; not pedestrian friendly.

There is now a Pedestrian walk way on Tropicana that goes straight there cross walks and everything it took them along time to complete this. here is the link

www.in-n-out.com/location_details.asp?id=86

There is also a Jack-N-Box right across the street!!

So glad you had a good trip. Did you like Shadow lounge? You didn%26#39;t say much about it.

We love Shadows in Caesars we go there every trip a fun place do go to have a couple of cocktails to start or finish off your evening.

You don%26#39;t see anything of the girls except for their silouettes dancing to the music which makes it alot of fun to watch. The bartenders are friendly and do a little flair when pouring the drinks. Get there around 9:30 to 10pm to get a good seat then it starts to get a little packed or after midnight. They have some really good specialty cocktails.

Cheers,

Stacie
