Flight to Vegas from UK

Hi, we are flying next week with American Airlines from Manchester to Vegas via Chicago. Can anyone tell me if they have films on the flight and also are the drinks free? thanks for any info on what we can expect from AA.

lol, husband to be tight, reckons more money for gambling. Im just waiting to say, i told you so. Not long now definately in countdown mode, 5 more sleeps. Whoooo hooo.

flew AA Christmas this year, trans-atlantic flight was very good new777 to New York,free drink+good personal in-flight movies etc - It worked after 2 reboots anyway! Interior flights were pants both ways -older planes+just free cola etc + we had to pay for headphones (luckily we had ';borrowed'; the ones from the other flight) -

Hope your connections aren%26#39;t too tight...We made the ongoing flight after immigration,but our luggage took 3 days to reach us in Vegas

You%26#39;ll have to pay for alcoholic drinks. Drinking alcohol on any long flight is never a great idea. Plenty of time for alcohol once you%26#39;re in Vegas... :-)

BMI was my preferred choice but sadly over 拢150 dearer and as i have to pay for 4 this adds up.

Actually the savings on AA pays for 6 nights at the signature with a little left over towards our next nights at Venetian.

I travelled on many airlines on my around the world trip and i gotta say American Airlines was the worst by a mile. Horrible flights. Make sure you take your own entertainment devices (movies on laptop, mp4/mp3 player, books etc )

British Airways was exponentially better.

But you pay for what you get and they are cheaper

But they don%26#39;t fly to Vegas. From the UK you%26#39;d have to fly with them to one of their US destinations and then connect to an AA (one of their partner airlines) flight.

Travelguru, how did you find BMI. we fly with them in july.

Hi this is travelguru under my day name.

I have never flown BMI, they were only my preferred option as they fly non stop but alas they were too expensive.

I think they probably are better than AA as they have newer planes seat back tv%26#39;s etc but price was too high 拢550 BMI 拢400 AA.

Prefer spending more on my accommodation.
