To all traveling in northern Nevada, there may be some delays. The highway department is checking roads, bridges, and overpasses for earthquake damage.

Dear Sneak, no delays or road work as far as I know. There was no earthquake damage to any of the roads or overpasses. Our weather has been unseasonably cold with some snow last weekend (nothing that lasted) so bring something warm just in case!

Sneak, it depends on the day whether you can just show up or if you need a reservation. When there%26#39;s a good show at Cactus Pete%26#39;s, the whole town sells out -- not hard, as small as Jackpot is! There%26#39;s no problem if you%26#39;ll be there on a weekday. You%26#39;ll probably get the best deal at the Horseshu or Barton%26#39;s Club 93. Cactus Pete%26#39;s is the most expensive. I haven%26#39;t talked to anybody who%26#39;s stayed at the Pony Express. I wouldn%26#39;t recommend the Four Jacks or the Covered Wagon.
