What are the best way to get disounted deals for the nice hotels on the strip. Besides the normal expedia, orbitz, Any experience with other websites for great deals? Looking to go next week for a couple of days in the middle of the week.

I did priceline in March and got the Venetian for $140 per night. I liked it a lot. I also like Hotwire a lot as well. You can figure out pretty easily what hotel they%26#39;re showing you by matching up dollar saved and geographic location.

Nowadays, hotels will match or beat the prices of the travel sites. They are cutting out the middleman and the old Harrahs (now named Caesars) is especially aggressive about beating the prices.
If you want to save money, get the best deal you can on any of the travel sites and call the hotel. Tell them where you got the deal and ask them to match or beat it.
The advice people are giving you was definitely true years ago. Not today.
flyinthesoup, I%26#39;m waiting eagerly to learn how you think a Vegas hotel is going to be able to beat the airfare price from a third party%26#39;s hotel/air package. Bookign airfare separately can cost more than the room itself sometimes.
