Looking for info on these two hotels. Posted in Mesquite forum, but I think they%26#39;re all asleep over there.
Virgin River Hotel and Casino and Oasis Resort and Casino. Price caught my eye and we%26#39;re just passing thru. Is it a ';you get what you pay for'; or worth the one night stop over? Just looking for clean!!!!
Thanks all

Mesquite?
Hi
Stayed one night in Mesquite the other year and went by the TA guide. So we stayed at Casablanca. We did not pay that much from what I can remember. It was a clean bright hotel with a nice pool area, it had much better reviews than the two you have mentioned.

Mesquite?
We haven%26#39;t stayed yet in Mesquite but have been there several times...if you play golf, you have some pretty courses there and Casablanca is the nicest of the facilities.
Again I can%26#39;t speak for the hotel rooms but wouldn%26#39;t hesitate staying at any of them based on the casino and property cleanliness we%26#39;ve seen there.
I personally have never stayed there, but my parents did a couple years ago and had reservations booked through Virgin River and after staying one night they left because it was so dirty and uncomfortable. They ended up staying at the Oasis and said it was much better!
Just one question though, are you staying there on your way to Las Vegas or leaving Las Vegas? Both my parents said, to them, it was a waste to stop and stay in Mesquite. It%26#39;s worth the hour drive to just get into Las Vegas and stay there.
Hope you have a great time!
That%26#39;s too bad about your parents stay, Kenadie and again haven%26#39;t stayed there...but we%26#39;ve been in all the casinos there and thought they were very clean.
kenadie,
We%26#39;re actually flying into Vegas late and heading to Zion. We%26#39;re out there for two weeks visiting the Nat%26#39;l Parks and hiking all over. We%26#39;re set to do a rim to rim hike in the Grand Canyon for 5 days to finish it up!!
Needed something just for a night to crash before we head out the next morning and pick up supplies. Becasue of the time change coming from East to West coast we didn%26#39;t want to drive the 3 hours to Zion. It would be 2:00am our time and that%26#39;s a long day!!
Thanks all of you for your help....appreciate it!!

I have stayed at Casablanca -- the previous post was right the rooms are bright and very clean and the pool is very nice. They also had a very nice coffee shop there with reasonable prices.
Parents stayed at oasis and said the room was nice as well. however they spent their time at casablanca.
Stayed there once and never again. Very dirty rooms, door didn%26#39;t close, tv was not working, bathroom dirty, stained carpet. Smokiest casino i have ever set foot in. I think we only paid $25 and still felt cheated.
I have stayed at the Oasis hotel. Just a couple of nights a while back. The room was just fine, nothing special but clean. Casablanca is a nicer property, but it was fully booked when I was there. I think Mesquite is quite a nice community and has some very exceptional golf courses. We are even considering buying a property there.
Forgot to mention: i was talking about Virgin River Casino.
We visited Oasis in Mesquite when on a mini-trip to Zion. It was ok - the casino was pretty smoky. Has some very inexpensive deals to look out for!
Since returning home, friends have suggested Eureka so we may try that next time, I%26#39;ve yet to see how the room rates compare. www.eurekamesquite.com
We enjoyed our mini-break in Mesquite, mostly because we needed a break from driving, I think!
