TR 04/14-17, Part 6/7 of 7 (Homeward Bound and Comments)

See reply.

I%26#39;ve decided to combine parts 6 and 7 into this final installment. I apologize for being so long-winded . . . I like to read details in trip reports . . . so that%26#39;s the way I write as well. Also . . . you people MIGHT not be as bored by my Vegas ramblings as my ';real life'; friends. Or . . . at least . . . you don%26#39;t have to listen to me . . . just close the window :)!

Not much to report here since we again had an early flight. Our cab back to the airport was $13. Check in was no problem, but even at 7 a.m. there was a long line at security . . . probably the longest we鈥檝e ever seen. No problems though.

Hubby grabbed a breakfast sandwich and milk at Burger King ($8). I tried a breakfast sandwich from Quiznos ($4 . . . and very good) and Starbucks coffee ($3). I need to comment on Starbucks. I have never seen such slow service at a Starbucks . . . holy smokes! But . . . there was no hurry . . . I had nowhere to be for an hour!

Sun Country proved reliable again. The flight left on time and we sadly left the city of lights behind us . . . until next time.

Many have asked here how much cash to bring. We charge everything possible to our room or our credit card. We are low-limit gamblers. This trip we used only $375 cash.

Reading back over my report, it seems sprinkled with disappointment. Yeah . . . I guess it was . . . but certainly nothing bad enough to spoil our trip. We had a great time. When do I leave again?????

Thanks for your report. I especially appreciated the details on MGM as we are booked there in a few weeks. I have been seriously debating changing though because I just don%26#39;t like big hotels! We might stick it out. Too bad you didn%26#39;t get that suite, but it sounds like you still enjoyed your trip and made the best of it.

Thanks again!

Thanks for taking the time to post this great TR, i enjoyed reading and couldn%26#39;t wait to get to the next part(s)

Not getting the spa suite may have been a bummer but hey for $69 you still got a great deal !!!

Thanks again

I appreciate the details of your trip, and thanks for sharing with us!!!

Thanks for your most interesting trip report. Sorry you missed out on that suite - once told you would get it I would have been very upset, but then the price you paid was excellent so you really can%26#39;t complain.

Thanks for the trip report it was very enjoyable.

I%26#39;ve just read through all of the installments of your report, coffee! Once again a very good and well written one, thank you! I%26#39;m one that enjoys reading details so it was much appreciated.

I%26#39;m like you, the beds in the Grand Tower are comfortable but not the best I%26#39;ve ever slept in and I also agree with you about the towels, tub and shower head/water pressure in the bathrooms.

The relaxing times at the pool sounded wonderful to me and so glad they have adult pools for those who prefer to not be at pools with children.

One thing, no lemon drop martini%26#39;s this trip? ;-)

Not one, Gabby! Can you believe it?

They aren%26#39;t offered on the casino floor . . . nor the pool . . . not my thing with food . . . but oh . . . had the Fontana or Zuri been open!! :)

Thanks for sharing! I like the ';long-winded'; ones=) Gives me something to do at work, lol

Actually this is the perfect length TR for me. Each segment was not too long, and I like it written on seperate threads. Sometimes when it%26#39;s on one thread I don%26#39;t know if I%26#39;ve read the whole report, or if the OP has returned to extend the report, or it%26#39;s just others responding to the report.

Thanks for taking the time to share =)
