Lake Tahoe in May

Will be staying at Tahoe Beach %26amp; Ski Resort May 25-31. Does anyone know about any construction going on?

Also would like to know some day trips %26amp; interesting places to visit. We%26#39;re in our 60%26#39;s so cant%26#39; do a lot of difficult hiking. Will be traveling from Ventura CA so if anyone knows of any stops along the way, it would be appreciated.

I%26#39;d rather not assume which route you are taking from Ventura so you%26#39;ll have to say which roads you will drive on before any stops can be suggested.

Many places in Tahoe will be open on Memorial Day weekend so that%26#39;s good news for you.

You should be able to take a scenic gondola ride out of the village gondola. Great views at the lookout.

Definitely take a lake cruise out of south lake tahoe.
