Best Restaurant and Lounges w/View?

Hi, We need opinions regarding the best places to eat and drink with a view. Price is not a consideration, we are looking for something appropriate for two middle age women. Thanks!

Best Restaurant and Lounges w/View?

';Price is not a consideration';

are you sure? IN LV you could easily spend $300-500 pp, is that OK? If not, price IS a consideration give us a price range - you will get answers better suited for you.

I don%26#39;t think age or gender is relevant - your tatses are, since not all middle aged women like exactly the same thing.

There are SO many options in LV that knowing what type of food you like and your price range is important.

Best Restaurant and Lounges w/View?

Here%26#39;s my own personal take on the various restaurants that offer good and great views:

Top Of The World (Stratosphere) - Overpriced food. You really do pay for the great view here. Better value for lunch but much inferior view in daylight.

Eiffel Tower (Paris) - Ditto.

Mix (THEhotel) - A big step up in quality but more expensive.

Alize (Palms) - A real top quality restaurant that%26#39;s up there with the best French in town. Very expensive.

VooDoo Steak (Rio) - Pretty good. Very possibly the best value for money option.

In addition to these you%26#39;ll find cheaper alternatives with lesser views at Range Steakhouse at Harrah%26#39;s and Ranch Steakhouse at Binion%26#39;s (Downtown).

I recommend Alize. I never had a meal that I didn%26#39;t love while eating there-food, service and ambience-excellent! To me it is so much better than Top of the World or Eiffel Tower. I have eaten at these two restuarants more than once and they can%26#39;t compare to Alize IMHO. Their views were great but the food wasn%26#39;t so fantastic.

For drinks- Voodoo lounge at the Rio.

True Blagger but The Range has some really lousy views too. A view of the commerical courtyard is not such a great view. :-%26gt;

Fair comment Shrink. Unless you%26#39;re at Top of the World with its revolving set up, just what view you get can be a crapshoot. You can%26#39;t see the Strip at all from some tables at VooDoo.

IMO, Picasso is the best combo of food, service and view.

My DW and I had the white truffle tasting menu with wine parings here some time back for dinner and it was our best meal ever in Vegas. The service was perfect and the food amazing. The artwork on the walls and the ringside view of the fountains all through our meal with the music that accompanied was well worth the price. $$$$$

Blagger we were stuck with a coutyard view and a smallish table even though we asked for a strip view. Oh well, the food was good.

I like the view at Fontana lounge at Bellagio. It has a great look and the fountains feel so soothing so the mood is mellow. (IMHO)

I guess we need to know if the OP is asking about strip view, downtown view, fountain view, or just any great view.

VooDoo Lounge @ the Rio... amazing view at night!

Mix at Mandalay

Alize on top of Palms

Best View - Top of the World at dusk (food is ok)

Best Food with 2nd best view - Mix

ok view with very good food - Alize

good view of Bellagio fountains, but expensive good food - Eiffel Tower restaurant

Haven%26#39;t been to VooDoo, but would like to.
