Peppermill

Is the Peppermill north or south of the Sahara or the Riviera? Are either of those casinos worth checking out while we%26#39;re up there?

Peppermill

It%26#39;s south of the Sahara and literally next door to the Riv.

Yes, they%26#39;re all worth cjecking out if you haven%26#39;t seen them.

Peppermill

Does 35 years ago count?

;-)

Perhaps not, but still, why not? I mean you%26#39;re right there.

True. Have they been renovated (ever)? I remember I thought they did a great job on the Desert Inn then the next minute it was gone!

I was just wondering if they were Circus Circus divey.

I can%26#39;t speak for the Sahara, but the Riv looks like she had her last make-over in the 90%26#39;s. Not good if you%26#39;re looking for Ocean%26#39;s 11 decor, but the casino looks a lot like the scenes from Casino. So yeah, 90%26#39;s. (or would that be 70%26#39;s/80%26#39;s)

The Riviera is a dive but it%26#39;s just across the Peppermill%26#39;s parking lot. If you need to catch a taxi after drinking a Scorpion or two, the Riviera cab stand is probably your best bet. You have to walk through the casino to get there.

Riviera is not divey like CC. Riviera is just lame. I go there a lot for shows. They have nice showrooms. And then I get out of there. Nothing in the Riv is interesting. The Sahara is a dump but the people there are nice. It%26#39;s a nice older crowd at the Sahara.

Peppermill just south of the Riviera. That%26#39;s a cool place.

I have never been to the Peppermill. Is there a unique but cool bar to have drinks and maybe an appetizer? Do they have a band there?

You want the Fireside Lounge in the Peppermill. I never saw a band but it has a super-cool/ funky/retro atmosphere.

I can cry whenever anyone mentions the Desert Inn. It was my all time favorite hotel in all of Vegas. I will NEVER forgive the Wynn for taking its place! Never!

I%26#39;ve never seen anyone eat at the bar at the Peppermill. There are two sides, the bar and the diner. The diner is a lot bigger and has huge portions. Good food. The bar is more for couples to get drunk and make out.
