which shows are worth seeing?

We are heading to vegas next weekend, april 26 for 3 nights and we would like to see 2 shows. Like most people these days, we are on a budget. It was hilarious because one night we were writing down the ones we wanted to see and it came to 17. We dont want to spend it all on one show, if you know what I mean. ( cirque 160.ooooooooooooo!!!!!! ) Thinking about jersey boys, the russian skaters on ice, menopause, blue man group. phantom of the opera, etc etc. Any ideas or recommendations would be appreciated.

Seems a tad late to plan the show, but on the other hand, you COULD just wait till you get there and see if any of your 17 choices are at one of the half price ticket booths.

I got Menopause the Musical for half price at the Fashion Show Mall half price (or tix for tonight) booth and thought it was a lot of fun.

Phantom and Blue Man Group are still pretty expensive. I personally kinda like Jubilee for my first Vegas show.

Can only comment on what I seen. 2 adults, 2 teens aged 15 %26amp; 17. We Loved ';LOVE';,(($109) Spamalot was also excellent and cheaper,( $75) cheerful and a pleasant diversion from the sun was Dirk Arthur!!!! We only went to Dirk as some friends said it was good. It was a cheap and pleasant hour out! 拢80 for four of us!!! :-)

LOVE, while maybe out of your price range, is a not-to-miss experience - simply mindblowing! Mystere is the least expensive Cirque show, but the most authentic and still very amazing. Blue Man Group is also extremely fun! There are some places to find discount tickets day-of, so check with your concierge for that info (or maybe others on the board have more details about that, I%26#39;ve never done the discount tix before). Have a great trip!

My top 3 favorites are: LOVE, Spamalot, Mama Mia

The 3 worst shows: Jubilee, Danny Gans, Mystere

(I know others will disagree)

We plan on Jersey Boys, Cher and Le Reve next month.

For discounts on shows try Travelzoo and www.goldstar.com. They currently have discounts on Spamalot, Le Reve, Ka, Phantom and others.

We loved Mystere!

try to see LOVE if you can,

and then try to have drinks for an hour at ';Lake of Dreams'; bar at Wynn - awesome light show at night ever 30 min.

Lake of Dreams

Wynn Las Vegas is constructed so that visitors must enter the building to view the free attractions. The main attraction is a large, curtain waterfall behind a mountain that faces the strip. The waterfall falls into a 3 acre (12,000 m虏) lake. Both the waterfall and lake have images displayed on them to produce a show called ';Lake of Dreams';. This show starts on the hour beginning in the afternoon. When the show is inactive, the waterfall creates an animated color sequence on the screen.

The show can be viewed from the Parasol Up (a bar and viewing area), and can be viewed through a glass window with no audio. Or, the show can be viewed from Parasol Down, with a larger view. Visitors can go to the platform at the Parasol Down bar to view the show with full-volume audio. Those dining at SW Steakhouse or Daniel Boulud Brasserie may also have a full view of the show while dining. Children under 18 are prohibited from going to Parasol Down.

Thanks guys for responding. I appreciate your time.!!!

orcestra seats for Mama Mai for 50.00 plus tax,

I am 42 and I love musicals, I loved Mama Mia, I am seeing it again 05/24.

Got tickets to Jersey boys, balcony seats 70.00 after tax.

Have seen Blue Man in Chicago - good show with some audience participation - Saw Jersey Boys on Broadway and Chicago it is a GREAT show - especially if you grew up with the Four Seasons! I would recommend Jersey Boys over all of the other ';Broadway'; type shows (have seen them all in either NYC or Chicago)
