Tipping Big Elvis

The show is free, does he accept tips? Surely. Never been, will be going in three weeks. Wouldn%26#39;t feel right if I couldn%26#39;t tip him. Let me know, does he have a tip jar or something? Maybe ';tip'; isn%26#39;t the proper term, but you get my drift.

Tipping Big Elvis

Before the show someone comes around and take written requests for songs (a napkin will do) you could include a tip at that time.

If you want to ';reward him'; for the show, they sell cds (which he will autograph) after each performance. We have a couple, they are actually quite good.

I%26#39;ve seen his show 4-5 times, I don%26#39;t think tips are done. Usually performers are not shy about letting you know if they want or expect tips. They either pass a bucket around or make a comment from the stage etc. I%26#39;ve not see Big Elvis make any reference to tipping during his shows, and I%26#39;ve not seen anyone throwing money at him or anything like that.

The show may be ';free'; for you, but I%26#39;m prety sure Big Elvis is paid for his performance by the casino.

We stayed at Bill%26#39;s last month and dropped in on the Big Elvis performance. I did not notice any tip jar or big brandy snifter anywhere, though I was not really looking.

But, I%26#39;m sure it you tucked a folded bill into your palm and went up to shake hands with him, he%26#39;d be most appreciative.

I never saw anyone tip him-ever! The CD suggestion was great. I am sure he makes a good salary-he did renewed his contract with Bill%26#39;s so he must be satisfied with it.

Last week songs were just requested verbally.

I agree . . . visit the gift shop and pick up a Big Elvis souvenir or CD after the show if you want to show your appreciation.

I like the CD idea too. Whre is the gift shop, in the back by the Victorian room? I%26#39;ve been to Bill%26#39;s/BC plenty of times and have never noticed it.

They sell photos (8 X 10%26#39;s) of him in the gift shop. Buy one there and he%26#39;ll autograph it for you as well. You could also ask him to autograph a CD you purchase, that way he knows you%26#39;re helping him out in that manner and are appreciative of his efforts.

Ditto on buying a cd..and tell him how much you enjoy him..he is a nice guy and definitely is not a ';put on';.
