Planning a trip to Vegas next year and just looking for advice as to which time of the year would be best. We are thinking of either May or September.

barbs1976- My husband and I have been to Vegas in both May and Sept and both were great times to go. The weather is gorgeous- We went last May and the day temps were in the 80%26#39;s, and cooler at night. We have been there in Sept more than once and the day temps in mid Sept were above 100 some days and in the 90%26#39;s others. The heat didn%26#39;t bother us at all-not like the humid heat we have here in NY.
Aside from the weather, the activities and crowds would be the next things to consider. Both are busy months-check the convention calendar to get some idea as to what might be in town the dates you are considering as this could drive up the hotel rates.
Personally, May and Sept or Oct are two of my favorite times to go, although I love June and Nov also, and January and April are good choices too-LOL-haven%26#39;t been there in Feb or March (yet)and July and Aug I think would be just a bit too hot for my liking. Jan
Weather wise
Both should be plenty warm with may being 5 or so degrees cooler month on average. Time of the month makes a difference. Both months are pretty dry.
May 1- 86 Hi, 51 Lo
May 31- 97 Hi, 59 Lo
Sept 1- 102 Hi, 64 Lo
Sept 30- 92 Hi, 53 Lo
Go to a weather website like weather underground or the weather channel for more specificity for the dates you are thinking of going.
Not sure about May but Sept will have less children during the week if that is a concern.
