The Hotel at the MB or Signature at MGM Grand

I want to book a 4 or 5 night break for me and my girlfriend for her 30th birthday in august. We%26#39;ve never been to LV but these 2 hotels look amazing, I just cant choose between them. has anyone been in both that would know which was better in terms of- which is the most impressive looking, best rooms, best location for pool access, strip, better bars%26amp;restaurants etc?

any help or pointers would be great!

The Hotel at the MB or Signature at MGM Grand

I%26#39;d stay at THE Hotel rather than the Sig. The Sig is a condo complex attached to the MGM, THE Hotel gives you more of a resort kind of feeling. The only flaw I can see is that MB is way south on the strip. The Sig isn%26#39;t exactly close to things either, you have to walk about 10 min to get into the MGM which is quite large and then go outside from there. It all depends on what you want to do while you are in Vegas. Want awesome pools? shopping, to be able to walk a lot of places from where you are staying? Want to be close to bars/clubs/restaurants?

we wouldnt mind walking or getting cabs/trams too much. the main things are the impressiveness of the hotel and room, ease of access to good pools and good bars/restaurants.

I have stayed at both and enjoyed the Signature more than The Hotel. The Hotel was very nice, and the service was excellent, but there were just a few things that made the Signature better for my husband and I. We always buy liquor to have in our room when we travel, and the signature has a refrigerator. The Hotel has a mini-bar, but you aren%26#39;t allowed to remove the items from it, so no refrigeration for sodas or juice as mixers. The Hotel at Mandalay has a big soaking tub, but not a double size whirpool tub like at the Signature. We enjoyed chilling out in our tub with a cocktail or two after walking the strip all day and night. Great way to relax. Both have excellent beds, both had quiet rooms, nice furnishings in both suites. We actually like getting to choose between the pools at The Signature with the nice cushy lounges and the pools at MGM grand. The pools at Signature are a little quieter but with great drink and food service. The pools at MGM are great because of the lazy river and the different pools. It all depends on what you are looking for. If you have any questions please feel free to PM me.

First time in Vegas, the right answer might be none of the above. Neither of those hotels are a great location. The Bellagio has a great location.

If you%26#39;re set on The Hotel or Sig, I%26#39;d take The Hotel so you%26#39;ll get more of the ';Vegas'; experience.

I%26#39;ve stayed at both, too, and think the rooms are nicer at the Signature, and the service is way, way better. The Signature is newer than THEHotel, another plus. I also actually liked the jr. suites at the Sig. better than the l bedroom suites.

For me, the Sig. location is better than TheHotel, too. Right next to the MGM, which has lots of great restaurants.

And being able to mix a drink in your room, and having morning coffee without getting dressed or having to order it from room service is just so sweet!

And as another poster mentioned, the bathtub is fabulous ;)!
