skylofts rate drop and re-book?

Staying at the Skylofts soon and after checking the current rates the 1 bedroom rate dropped from $900 per night ( original booking)to $569 per night for same time period currently. They also dropped the 2 bedroom down to what I originally paid for the one bedroom. I called and re-reserved and snagged the 2 bedroom at the deal rate.

Question for future reference...how often can you re-book? Is it super tacky? Now I see the 2 bedroom has dropped another 100 per night but I dont think they would appreciate another call so I think I will leave it and hopefully be given a better view than a later...cheaper booking guest.

Anyone have thoughts on if this an appropriate action?

Rebook as many times as you can. It%26#39;s not tacky at all. The prices are dropping because they aren%26#39;t full now and you booed (obviously) very early.

A hundred bucks is significant change.

Yes, definitely call and rebook as many times as necessary to get the best price. $100 is a meal or some more gambling money!!!!

Who are you worried about offending? A corporation, or a clerk on the phone? For 100 bucks a night I wouldn%26#39;t care about hurting the feelings of either.

Dr.....they wont find it tacky and proceed to put dreaded bed bugs in my room will they? Smile

They may, but remember, bedbugs only bite ankles so wear socks to bed.

VN... when are you staying? I have a friend that may be interested in one of those suites and that%26#39;s not a bad deal.

I was more worried about being given a lesser view as I dont ever have the ';neon views'; here in Vermont. Also some of the 2 bedroom have a billiard table in them and I asked for that as well if possible.

One thing I would like to add.....the service I have been given by the Skyloft team so far as been absolutly amazing. I had heard ahead of time it was spot on but people of TA...its FANTASTIC. So friendly, so wanting to make your every whim a reality ...nothing seems to be a bother at all. I have had them arrange shows, dinners and other minor things. I feel pampered before I even arrive!

Dr..... by the end of the month. Have your friend check out the website and play with the dates if he is flexible. It is a good deal but this is my first skyloft trip so I will have to report when I am sure!

A regular poster here (Lowrance) has stayed in the Lofts and has had nothing but good to report. He also had pictures on his profile.

Personally, I%26#39;m not a MGM fan. In fact, some may say I%26#39;m a hater, but at those rates for those suites, it%26#39;s hard not to recommend them.
