Where to stay/where to get first legal drink

My daughter is turning 21. Where should we stay and what club should she hit for her first legal drink (23 year old brother will be along)??

and your/ her budget is???????????

Budget is generous--we (parents) are footing the bill and want her to see some other singles.

Givs us some more details - are you going along or is just her and her brother? What time of year are you/them going? Summer - do they want a pool? Do they want totally young/hip or a little luxury/hip?

PS - where in CO are you from?

Well, if budget is no issue, stay at one of the luxury properties. I LOVE the Wynn, and Venetian%26#39;s a close second, but I haven%26#39;t stayed at Palazzo, Bellagio, or Caesars yet, which could all also be options. THEhotel at Mandalay Bay could also be another option, with a young, hip clientele, but it%26#39;s in a bad south strip location.

For first drink, it depends on what she%26#39;s looking for (bar, lounge, or nightclub). If it were me (I%26#39;m not of drinking age yet but close), I%26#39;d want to be at Pure - still the hottest nightclub on the strip (although Tao, Tryst, Jet, LAX, and Prive are all also supposed to be fun and trendy).

Enjoy the trip!

We parents are going in June with daughter, turning 21--CU student in Boulder and son PhD student at Stanford. Pool would be good in the heat and young/hip/nice would be good for the bar with just her brother (and maybe his girlfriend). Also where for dancing. The old folks will let them have some fun on their own.

pool MB and MGM

rooms at MB get a 1500x2 or 3 suite about 310 a night or MGM sign.

1st drink go with the flow much better if you don%26#39;t make an artificial moment

we have taken 2 kids fOr 21st taKING 3RD ON MONDAY

I think it would be awesome to get your first ';legal'; drink at a slot machine or blackjack table etc.

I am sorry, but isn%26#39;t this over-planning? I agree, once you decide which hotel, go with the flow.

first legal drink, make it unique, something to always remember like the 3 foot high glasses or one of the downtown footballs. One of those might also mark the first and worst hangover she will never forget. which may teach her to be moderate always

Drinking is not big deal, not like getting a driver%26#39;s license, etc., it%26#39;s just one of life%26#39;s choices to be handled properly.

At 12:01, she should go up to a male casino bartender and say, I just turned 21, is that worth a free Long Island Iced Tea?
