Help! Mirage vs Wynn

Currently I have a Mirage Tower Suite booked for $154 per night in September. The Wynn has their standard resort rooms for $159 per night. Should I keep my suite at the Mirage or stay at Wynn?

Help! Mirage vs Wynn

No brainer. Switch to Wynn. Location is basically the same, and Wynn is nicer on every level.

Don%26#39;t get me wrong, The Mirage is perfectly fine. But if the price is the same (basically), take Wynn.

Help! Mirage vs Wynn

Wynn. Mirage is a very nice hotel but Wynn is a couple of steps up in every category.

But I have a Tower Suite at the Mirage for a lower price than the Wynn standard room. Wouldn%26#39;t the Mirage Suite be a better deal. I know the room would be about twice as large as Wynn. Thanks for your comments!

I guess it comes down to how important the larger floor space and having the seperate living area is to you and how much time you%26#39;re intending to spend in your room. The standard rooms at Wynn are (I think) 650 sq feet which is plenty for me.... :-)

Personal chocie.

wynn

Let%26#39;s look at all the factors:

Room size: Edge Mirage

Casino: Edge Wynn

Buffet: Edge Wynn

Restaurants: Edge Wynn

Pool: Edge Wynn

Spa: Edge Wynn

Locaton: Push

Spaciousness of property: Edge Wynn

Shops: Edge Wynn

Bars: Edge Wynn

It all depends on what matters to you.

If this was my decision, I would switch to the Wynn. It really is a few steps up from the Mirage, and even though there isn%26#39;t anything really ';wrong'; with the Mirage, the Wynn is an all-around better hotel... just my opinion. :)

We have stayed in both (Wynn many times). There%26#39;s no question Wynn is the better hotel, with better ameneties.

But it depends what experiance you are looking for.

The Tower Suite is a little out-dated, but very comfortable. And it depends if you will really use it as a suite.

If you are going to have other people visit your room, definately keep the suite. The public rooms, living room and dining are are perfect for entertaining. Also you have the entire wall of floor-to-ceiling windows for a great view (make sure to request a pool view looking south, this also gives you a strip view).

The suite also has a beautiful dining area, so if you will use this (room service or even bring in take-out) it is wonderful. There is also a real fridge, not an honor bar.

The suite bathroom has a jetted tub (although small) if this matters. Where the Wynn tub, while much larger and opulent, is not jetted.

Wynn is much more modern and is a much better property, but in many ways the Mirage suite will be more comfortable.

This is not the worst choice to have to make, enjoy!

Wynn hands down.

I%26#39;ve never stayed at Wynn so I%26#39;m not qualified to advise. I hear it%26#39;s fantastic though! I have played there and prefer the Mirage casino. The Wynn casino is just so....ummmm...RED! I could afford to stay at Wynn, but I couldn%26#39;t afford to eat there!
