I read about this in Blaggers TR. Is this the same or similiar to Let It Ride, where you make three bets, and you don%26#39;t like your hand you can take 2 of your bets off?
3 card poker?
I%26#39;m still here Adam!
Not really like Let It Ride. Here%26#39;s a link to a
description of the rules:

Basically playing against the dealer will lead to totally boring time! The way to make serious money is to play the Pair Plus bet. Most of these bets will inevitably lose but if you beat the dealer without making a pair it will keep you ticking over until you get the good hands. Likewise, you%26#39;ll break even on hands when the dealer doesn%26#39;t qualify. If you get a good run of flushes and straights, the Pair Plus payouts can lead to some good winnings, and one of the ';big two'; hands (three of a kind or straight flush) can be spectacular.
3 card poker?
I often play JUST Pair Plus and not the ante.
Also, if you go to Palazzo, they have Let It Ride tables with a 3 card bonus - you just put out another bet and you get paid on your 3 cards, totally independent of how you play the hand with the dealer%26#39;s cards.
Yes, playing Pair Plus only is definitely an option. I%26#39;ll do this sometimes if I%26#39;ve had a bad run and my bankroll is getting a little low. You don%26#39;t have to worry about the dealer%26#39;s hand at all - your own hand is all that matters.
I love three card poker. Give it a try!
Just as little aside on the subject of Three Card, I noticed when I was there a few days ago that Harrah%26#39;s in Lake Tahoe was paying 5/1 for a straight at Pair Plus rather than the standard 6/1. It%26#39;s still 6/1 in Vegas but I suspect a little odds shaving in classic HET fashion may be imminent... :-(
Every table I played at required you to play the ante. That is why it is called the ante. To play the pair plus you must play the ante. At least that is what I have seen.
As per the wizard it says you can make an ante and/or pair plus bet so I guess you can do it. I still have not seen a table that allowed it though but then I don%26#39;t play it very often.
There%26#39;s nothing in writing on the table, either on the felt or a sign. You just put your bet on pair plus. You can either look at your own cards or just have the dealer look. You ONLY get paid on pairs or better, so it doesn%26#39;t matter what the dealer does. I have never had a table tell me I couldn%26#39;t do it, anywhere.
I like it because, like Blagger says, your bankroll goes further and that%26#39;s where the bigger payoffs are if you do hit.
