Where is the best and most reasonable place to rent a car in Las Vegas? Do they have a pick-up and drop off at the airport?
Thanks!
Best and most reasonable place to rent a car?
In the past, we%26#39;ve always used Priceline and gotten a rental car and for much less than the daily rate we%26#39;ve seen on all other websites.

You take a shuttle from the airport to the car rental center where the rental companies are located. I%26#39;ve read on here that it%26#39;s pretty quick and convenvient. I%26#39;ll find out on my own this Sunday.
I rent from Dollar as they have some of the cheaper rates plus they have several drop-off locations on the strip. I don%26#39;t want the car for the entire stay and being able to drop it off at one of the hotels on the strip works out great for me.
If you make a reservation with Dollar (probably the other companies too, I%26#39;m not sure on that) you can always cancel and rebook without any cancellation fees. I%26#39;ve done so three times for my upcoming trip. They don%26#39;t require a CC for the reservation.
Most of the major hotels have an on site rental desk. Renting from the hotel is always more expensive than at the airport. But if you only want a car for one day, it is probably cheaper than taking cabs back and forth to the airport rental facility.
Many people seem to use Priceline. I have always had luck using Thrifty and Dollar. I have rented a car over 60 times in Vegas-mostly with these two companies and I never had a problem. Join their Express Clubs (different companies have different names for them) and you will save a lot of time because the paperwork is done online and ready for you when you arrive.
As the other poster said- keep checking the rates-they may go down and then you can rebook and get the lower rates.
Southwest.com has a great tool for comparing car rental rates. I go with the cheapest becasue I have found them all to be about the same.
I%26#39;ve gotten the best deals renting direct and using codes from my credit card company, the American Casino Guide or from the rental company itself. All my Vegas rentals have been through Alamo.
I recently used Priceline and got a great deal. Before I have always used Costco%26#39;s website. Go to the travel tab and then rental cars. I%26#39;ve always gotten great prices from Alamo through Costco and you don%26#39;t have to be a member of Costco. There is a shuttle to and from the airport to the car rentals. Very easy and convenient!
That suggestion for the Southwest Airlines website is very helpful!! It is a great place to compare rates! Thank you for all your help everyone.
