Palms or Hard Rock

I am headed to Vegas for work May 27-30 and am going to stay off the strip I believe this time. Can someone tell me which hotel is better, the Hard Rock or Palms? Hard Rock seems closer to strip, therefore it might be a better deal. My coworker and I will be there and want a place that has a pretty happening clubs at night after a workday.

Palms or Hard Rock

HRH is indeed closer. I can only comment on this one though as I%26#39;ve only visited Palms. I adore HRH, I like that it%26#39;s more compact, I love Pink Taco, the central bar%26#39;s really cool and the music%26#39;s more my thing as well ! The rooms in HRH are really spacious and modern too.

Palms or Hard Rock

HRH is smaller and closer to the strip and has a better overall vibe. The rooms are generally bigger and better appointed but it is beginning to show its age. HRH is also not what it once was as the younger crowd are now also being attracted to Palms, Luxor, TI and PH.

Palms is a much bigger hotel with a greater range of facilities which are much newer.

Palms has a greater variety of clubs, restaurants and lounges when compared to HRH. It also has a better pool.

Overall, for me, I would recommend the Palms. HRH is a great hotel but is beginning to struggle in the face of some stiff competition.

The hot people go to the Palms! Its HOT!

HRH is not really closer to the Strip. I mean, yes it technically would be closer to walk, but nobody walks to either one when there are free shuttles available. Both have a ';happening'; nightlife, though Palms has more different clubs to choose from. However, Palms can be pretty sedate during the week, so while I think Palms is the nicer hotel overall, you might be happier at HRH for this trip.
